Awwww, don't be mad, ''Make-Up''!

The proper use and application of make up is not as impossible as many women think it is.

Make-up should be used to enhance, not to over power your own’beauty’.

For best results when applying make-up, always start with a clean face.  Your foundation make-up will go on more smoothly, evenly and last longer.

Begin by choosing a good foundation.  Choose one for your skin type and try to match your skin shade by not going more than one shade darker or lighter.  Remember, enhance, not disguise.

Apply your foundation with either your fingers or a damp(NOT WET) make-up sponge evenly in upward motions, being careful to blend it at the edges.

And there you’ve got your canvas prepared for the actual artwork.

Next, use a blusher color 2-3 shades darker than your own skintone to enhance your cheekbones.(PLEASE, no dark red splotches)

Your next step is to frame your face.  Eyebrows are the frame.  Make sure not to tweeze(or pluck) them into 2 pencil thin lines.  Give them a nice, eyelifting arch to bring out your eyes.  Use a brow pencil to fill in any sparce brow area.

Now we are on to the windows of your soul, your eyes themselves.  A little, non-smear, waterproof mascara is really all that is needed.  But if you choose to wear eyeshadow, remember to use neutral shades.  Nothing looks worse than bright blue or green eyeshadow.

Finally, your lips.  Make them kissable by first outlining your lips with a lip pencil 2-3 shades darker than your lipstick.  Apply your lipstick with a lip brush, lightly powder and re apply lipstick again, for a long lasting kisser

Well, that about covers it.  All in all, it should not take more than 15 minutes, TOPS, to apply make-up that will show the world your enhanced look, not a facial mask!
