The best way to start is to wash your face thoroughly with a gentle cleanser that suits your skin. Then rub some ice on your face for a couple of seconds.(It helps to keep the make up on your face longer!) Now, use a light foundation like Shahnaz or Revlon or Lakme.pick your brand. After carefully blending it in, add a hint of face talc for that matte effect. For the cheeks I recommend Lakme pure radiance blush. If you are in a more’expensive’ mood, go for Revlon or L’oreal. Light strokes starting from the nose towards the ears on the cheek bones give a startling effect.
Depending on the occasion, you must choose your eye make up. A well applied eye liner(I recommend Maybelline) and a hint of eye shadow should do. Use Kajal for a more dramatic effect. Although Black mascara looks good, try the new transparent ones. They look real chic on the eyes.
For the lips, use a shade according to the season. Light and bright shades look cool in summer. then again, consider your skin tone while picking your shade. Preferably use a pair of lip brushes for your lipstick. It gives a much better effect. Now with all this done, I guess you are all set for that special evening!(Or maybe just another day at work!)
