As far as I can remember, I have always loved to write. Earlier, I do remember getting a couple of prizes, for my articles or letters to the editor, in a couple of Youth magazines. And then there was a void in my writing career. The only writing I used to do was in my Notebooks and Exam papers. And I never did pick up the pen, except maybe to write letters to my near and dear ones.
Then came the net revolution. And onefine day, I got a spam mail from some particular e-group, called ghost writers or something similar. It was a place, where u would don a particular identity and carry on e-mail conversations with other folks. It was fun, as the conversations would be as imaginative as possible. And then again I lost contact, thanx to a vrius wipeout on my PC. Then oneday, I got to hear of a site called Mouthshut.com . The name was so intriguing, that I decided to visit, and was here to stay. This was a novel site, where , for one thing, I get to write on topics I like, and I get rated. The other plus point was the comments from other readers/writers, which would help me make my next review better. But good ratings or otherwise, This was a site, that gave me the right to put forth my views, without fearing anyone, without having to actually please anybody. I am able to write what appeals to me.
Also, the unique idea of the trusted circle, wherein, we are able to interact with our pen friends. Kind of a chat site, with a difference.
This site has indeed turned out to be a great platform, for all of us who have the penchant for writing, but till the onset of MS had nowhere to nurture it.
What I like most about the site, apart from all the great writers is the everfriendly support team at MS. The CEO, takes it upon himself to welcome new entrants, and there is a word of praise from him quite often. The unique call up the CEO program was a gem of an Idea.
And from the support team , I know of only Aarti and Jasmine, and hats off to their efficiency too.
I knew I could write, but I never knew how much. I have now written around 180 + reviews , am on many friends trusted circles, have others in mine. And all along it has also been a learning process.
One thing I must thank MS is for keeping politics, religion and ethnicity out of MS. Their Vigilance has seen to it that untoward incidents do not happen here.
I once again thank all my friends and supporters here.I sure hope to write more on MS, in times to come.
