I have absolutely no clue as to why I ever registered myself as a MS member on that’ Fateful’ night!( One of my friends, God bless him, recommended this site)
- I have been a member now for a little over a
fortnight!
I have written 5 reviews.
I have received 1 HR, 2 R, 2 SR ratings.
Read hundreds of reviews .
Rated a few of them .( I still am not convinced totally
that I am in a position to’ Rate’ any reviews)
saved all the ratings, M2Ms & Comments.( Though it
occupies space in the ever shrinking Mail Box of my e
mail account with Rediff.com.
Changes this has brought about in me:
- I have for some strange reason started to fancy myself
as a great review writer / writer almost in the class of
say. Earnest Hemingway!
- I have, for some even more weirder reason, began to
feel little more important than what I actually should
feel.
- I used to be a Normal net surfer & not a Netizen . I
used to spend no more than 30 - 35 minutes in sending
unimaginative & boring mails to my cousins in US of A &
in Germany. These days I spend hours in front of the
PC.to be precise in front of MOUTHSHUT.COM.However The
time spent seems to be grossly inadequate & I seriously
feel like spending few more hours! I even contemplate
bunking office, shun social life & social commitments.
- I get quizzical looks from my son who sees me forever
typing something, intently reading some reviews,
chuckling to myself( after reading some extraordinarily
humorous review)
- I get suspicious looks from my wife who, by now, is
convinced that I am having some kind of extra marital
affair on the net! I realized that I JUST DON’T SPEND
ENOUGH TIME WITH HER ANYMORE!
- I am now being ostracized by my social circle & friends.
Whenever they ask’ What are your plans tonight?’
With a definite glee, I almost always reply’ I have
work to do at night’ I know in my heart that it is
just this addiction to MS, that prompted that reply
Scary thoughts.
# Have I sold my soul to the DEVIL?
# Is Mouthshut.com an alter ego of the DEVIL himself?
# If not why this addiction?
# Will this ruin my family & social life?
# Have I, already, been labeled as a Social outcast?
I surrender to the power of Mouthshut.com.I hate to admit but I am now a confirmed MS addict
