From the time that I first learned how to speak, I have enjoyed opening my mouth and sharing my thoughts with the world. Eventually the thoughts grew into well-rehearsed cynicism, as I became distrustful of big business along with the rest of the world. But, I continued to share my thoughts, and people eventually realized that, if nothing else, I was being completely honest - something that is sadly lacking in today’s cut-throat culture.
I have been a member here at MouthShut for a month now. I enjoy the wide range of products and services that I can critique, along with the different advice I am invited to give to people all over the world about almost anything I can possibly imagine. In one sitting I can dis Britney Spears, tell you how to maintain a washing machine, and praise the new Windows Operating System - all with just a few mouse clicks and many honest words!
This is a great place for most cynics, as we are allowed to share the experiences that we have had in our lives. Sometimes we will shock you because our opinions do not agree with the majority’s. Sometimes we will bring things into a different perspective for the rest of our readers. But, many a time we will actually agree with others, claiming that the product or service is either wonderful, garish, or average.
I love reading the thoughts posted on this site. Everyone who contributes something regarding a particular product or service has had their own unique experiences - a valuable tool for helping others make decisions. The users at this site are, for the most part, very honest but, at the same time, friendly to old-timers and newbies alike. This makes for a great, tightly-knit community in which we can all feel free to discuss various issues candidly - something that I simply cannot get enough of!
I usually have a lot of nasty things to say about layouts of various Web sites: I am picky about this type of thing for unknown reasons. However, the MouthShut interface is simple, aesthetically pleasing, and easy to use: I don’t find much in the way of distractions or dead links to annoy or mislead me. The good things about MS & related suggestions have been given by many members by now, so I dont want to repaet on those.
Oddly enough, I find myself becoming a little bit more addicted to this site each time that I visit. I enjoy writing, and wish to do it professionally. This is a great place for me to work that out and improve my skills, as I am getting feedback and suggestions from most of the readers. I encourage all of you to keep sending comments and making the ratings that you feel are appropriate for each review - that way we can all hopefully get better at this writing gig as things go along.
LONG LIVE MOUTHSHUT!!!!!
