Make your own fabric starch

Some of my home made stuff.

You can make your own fabric starch by boiling a couple of tablespoons of rice in a quart of water for a half hour or so, then strain the rice out. Use it warm as it gels when it cools. Pour it into a glass jar to store and just warm it a little when you want to use it again. You’ll need to rinse the nozzle of a spray bottle after using it.

Toothpaste -Use baking soda, or baking soda and salt, or plain hand soap - it doesn’t taste as bad as you think, and it will clean your teeth.

Laundry detergent - Dissolve a bar of handsoap in water(cut it up and let it set overnight, or cut it in smaller chunks and heat while stirring) and add to three gallons of hot water, mix thoroughly and add a cup of washing soda. Let it cool to a gel before using one cup to an average load of laundry. Or try using a half cup of baking soda and a half cup of borax
