1) Android smartphones have the biggest disadvantage that very often these phones tend to hang. This event is explained with the fact that Android software is designed on Java platform which has a property of garbage collection which are accumulated with every click of the phone and at some point of time the phone’s memory gets exhausted and the phone start hanging. It needs the garbage to be cleaned from the memory. In order to achieve this one must activate a booster software which cleans the garbage instantly and the phone gets back its original speed. 2) In Android phones, GSM mobile network service is used for 2G network and WCDMA for 3G network and there are three options like GSM, WCDMA and GSM/WCDMA. For optimal use of the phone, it must be set to GSM/WCDMA so that the phone can be tuned to 3G service and if at some place 3G is not available, it can be automatically tuned to 2G service. If one uses only WCDMA option, then in the absence of 3G network, the phone will not function.
3) It has a lot of options available like Bluetooth, airplane and WiFi modes and can be activated by touching the respective icon on top of the phone. While activating WiFi option, a list of networks are listed which needs a password to activate the network. Bluetooth option must be activated when needed, otherwise harmful networks can bring harm to the Android software without the knowledge of the user.
4) While using the phone for making calls, the Internet connection must be disconnected. Otherwise, the phone may tend to hang.
5) An antivirus software is must for an Android phone since during Internet access on the phone, viruses may enter the phone’s memory which may harm the phone’s software.
6) Android phones offer Google Play free of cost from where many useful Apps can be downloaded conveniently.
7) The touch key pad of the phone must be activated when needed. Otherwise the touch screen may get corrupted which may need to replace the touch pad.
8) The display screen must be laminated to protect scratches on it.
