Around 45 percent of Android smart phone users are at risk of having their devices hijacked.The bug is believed to allow cyber criminals to hijack the screen of the smart phones and it could be used to blackmail users. It may happen in lack of security mechanism in Android devices. It is found that Based on the Googles policy which grants extensive permission to apps installed directly from Google Play, this flaw is exposing Android users to several types of attacks including ransomware, banking malware and adware. It can be used vulnerability can be used to access the Android systems and hack photos and passwords and bank details. Same system can be used for Facebook Messenger app.Better to avoid down loading suspicious third party apps until the bug is completely eradicated
