Riding a bike always looks cool. So every teenager now wants to own a bike. I would like to share some of the tips for buying bikes:
The most important factor for buying a bike, is your budget. If your budget is low, you can go for commercial and mid range bikes. These bikes are way cheaper, and have high mileage level. For people, who have big budget can go semi sports bikes, which are fast, good looking but lack in mileage.
The next important feature is the mileage of the bikes. Buying a bike with low engine capacity of 100cc, provide very high mileage. Going for higher capacity(above 180cc) bike will reduce the mileage. Try buying a bike with self start as well as kick, so in case the battery drains, kick can be used to easily start the bikes. Sadly, now the high end bikes are not being provided with kick start.
Many people want bikes with good acceleration and high top speed. Going for a 200, 220, 250cc bikes will meet the requirement.
Safety matters a lot, so many people go for bikes with disc brakes, which provide extra safety. Good news for buyers is that, now days all bikes manufacturers are providing disc breaks as a standard feature. Also, bikes with wide rear tires are more stable, but at the cost of low mileage.
The comfort of the bike is also taken into account. Many prefer to go on long rides. The height of the bike, the hardness of the seat. In comfort the most important requirement is the quality of the Shock-up. Now days bikes with monoshocks are ruling the market. There are still bike with dual shocks at the back.
I hope my advice will be useful, for potential bike buyers,
