LG GW 525 is a full touch screen phone with a slide out QWERTY key pad. Basically, a LG Cookie with a keypad. Have been using this phone for over 3 months now and has definitely lived up to its expectation.
The build quality and the functions are sophisticated with GPRS, Facebook, E-mail Support, 3.0 MP camera.
The battery life though disappoints as it lasts just 3 days with light usage and 2 points in battery suddenly drain out overnight. Touch screen works well, as well as the accelerometer.
Sometimes you feel that the processor is a tad slow in response. However, you can browse internet through GPRS at a pretty decent speed. Using touch keypad or QWERTY pad for typing are equally easy and convenient. Livesquare seems overhyped as I dont see much use of the same. Sound output is not great, both for music and conversation.
Bought it for Rs 13000/- in Delhi in November’09 and so far satisfied with it.
