COOL DOWN your Processor

Search google and download this little application called SPEEDFAN.

not monitor your CPU temprature. if you have A P4 or later model. you need to worry a

little about it.  if your PC temprature is above 55 degrees Celcius.

Buy yourself some Thermal paste. ARCTIC ICE is the best. however the others arnt bad.

Tradeoff between Quality and Price.

remove the CPU FAN  and CPU then using a clean pain brush 2-3 inches thick. clean the

dust from the motherboard. there is a lot of it. trust me.

use some solution to clean the CPU and heat sink. let it dry completely.

now take a drop of the thermal paste and spread it on the cpu and heat sink.and using a

credit card( OR something like it) spread it around properly and let it stay for 2

minutes.AT this moment we are filling in the millions of microscopic pores on the

surface. now using a visiting card ar something just wipe out the extra paste visible on

the surface.

Now vey carefully apply a THIN EVEN layer of compound on the Processor and heat sink.

now very carefully put the processor on the motherboard. Do not touch the thermal paste

with your hands as it loses effeciency.

slowly clip the CPU fan+heatsinK on the processor so that it doesn not fet smudged or

peeled.

Put the pc back on line. Start it and run NORTON ANTIVIRUS or Just press F5(Refresh)

while Checking the temprature on SPEEDFAN.

Now you will be happy as your processor remains Cool and calm.

Happy Computing.
