It was after rather a hectic day of of work, I was tired, wanted to reach home early. enroute, wanted to fill petrol. as always I wanted to prove the workers that we know their stealing our money. it suddenly stuck me to watch another coutner which is a smaller in size below the regular counter which also runs while the fuel is dispensed. when the regular counter showed 1 ltr, the mentioned counter showed 9 points . when this was pointed out I was humilitated and almost manhandled by the workers. I went inside the office, but the man inside( manager or the owner) told me it was my behavior that created the scene. there were other people filling fuel didnot at all care about what was going on.
fuel theft is done with the knowledge of the owners.
people dont find time to argue or to check with apparatus available at the bunks.
oil companies should come out with more effective foolproof sytems.
Quality can any time be proved but not the quantity.
*Vehicle manufactures should come forward to have gadgets, which would indicate the exact amount of fuel available in the tank before and after filling
i** dont find any other method would help the consumer to escape from this day light robbery.
