Oriental Insurance Company Ltd.
Medicalim Policy No: 171100/48/2008/6390, Issue Office Code: 171100,
"Prithvi Agni Aakash, sab ki suraksha hamare pass!. Jab insaan ki suraksha nahi karpaara ha hei tho inka kya kare ?.
I have submitted the cheque dated 07 th March2008 for renewal
of my mediclaim policy expired on 27 th March2008 along with 4 of us ( family members) photographs. Inspite of paying the renewal amount 20 days in advance I have not received a receipt or the policy for more than 75 days. After several communications, finally the policy was delivered at my home but no Photo Identification Cards were provided.
Upon sending several emails and contacting the concerned officer who also seems to be an agent of OIC (– part time business normally carried out by all Insurance Company Officers.) I have been informed that the old PIC of last year can be utilized in case of any emergency. This was absolutely a lame excuse he was providing. If old card is valid, why did he obtain fresh photographs from me for new cards ? Why he did not intimate this to me earlier ?
Why OIC employees should work as agents in this where they cnt
provide services to customers who believe in them for being OIC
employees. Its really disgusting. I visited OIC website and found that Im the 1966 visitor to this site. This clearly indicates that there is no use of this website
by anyone as there is no response from the officials. Im totally upset with the outcome of OIC services.
Upon writing to Senior officials, I have been communicated through email that necessary communication being made to TPA to issue the card and also informing me that the delay in providing the PIC was due to photographs for the Identity card being submitted to them only two days ago.
This is ridiculous, as the photographs were submitted along with the cheque payment to OIC officer who has his moral responsibility to ensure that the customer ID card being delivered to him on time to enable him to utilize cashless hospitalization in case of emergency.
Wherein, my case the Officer was deceitful and his senior officers were protecting him. This is the reason why Government undertaking Insurance Companies services are deteriorating day by day. These sort of employees need to be sacked and should set an example for others to refrain from such deplorable activities.
They are only interested in making money and willing to compromise on anything.
Till today, I do not know whos the TPA and where should I go for hospitalisation on emergency. Is this attitude of Oriental Insurance Company friendly ? Its disgraceful for being it called a National Insurance Company (Govt Undertaking).
"Insurance is a Subject matter of Solicitation " OIC does not know its meaning I think.
