As some of you have expressed, we got a call to come to their office in Ashoknagar to collect gifts. Although I was ignoring, I finally asked after a number of calls "what is the catch". As I expected, the answer was "there is no catch, sir, you just have to come and pick-up your gifts". I was in no mood since India were playing their final one-day match against Srilanka, but was being pestered by my Dad to go check out.
My wife did a google search and came across the posting of one of the victims, which was very helpful. I was waiting for this girl from Casa to call me so I can give it back to her. When she called, I started asking her questions and one of my questions was "how much money do you make at Casa". She initially didn’t get my question, but she was parroting what she does always saying "no sir, you don’t have to pay anything".
She finally got on to my question and answered she makes 25 grands, to which I replied, I’ll pay you 30 grands, you can come and do some household chores. I told her she will sleep well at night knowing she is not cheating people.She was obviously agitated and called me again, but she got an earful from me again. She didn’t call me again so far, but thanks to the net, we can spread the word and stop this nonsense.
