What to Play and When and HOW!

Board Games, Card Games, Movement Games are all part of the fun process to cure boredom. Boredom is the cause of all these games. I have never once played a game when I was already relaxed or been having fun for a certain period of time. These games usually get opened up when cousins or friends come over and going out is out of the question.

Some Games to Play to Kill Time

Intelligence Games is one genre of games you can play :

Monopoly

Travel around a country buliding up property and ownership of land. Putting up hotels and houses, charging rent, making the public go bankrupt.   You can play this game with about 6 people. Games can go on for long and most likely will take a long time!

Scrabble

Pick random letters from a letter bunch and place them on a grid gameboard in a crossword style format. Challenging game as when all the vowels and popular letters are taken, you are left with Z’s, X’s and Q’s to work with.   A game played by most American’s!

Scattergories

Roll the letter dice and you have 3 minutes to write as many words with that letter which concern the 15 topics.

Fruit? Apple. Vegetable. Asparagus, etc.

Fun and entertaining and comical as you hear some of your opponents wacky yet great answers!

Card Games

Fish

A 52 Card Game where players each receive 5 cards and have to accumulate as many pairs as possible by asking someone if they have one of your cards. More of a kids game than adults.

A**hole

My favorite game which is played by 3-4 people. The object is to get rid of all your cards by beating the value of eachothers cards. The first winner is assigned President, the second, Vice President, the Btch and then the Ahole

Movement Games

Twister

A floor mat consisting of 16 colored circles. Spin the wheel and place either the foot or hand on one of the colors on the mat while manoeuvering through your opponents position.

Power Pad

Now this one is really cool! This was a game with the Nintendo Entertainment System that involved track and field. You could run sprints, long jumps, hurdles and much more. You can play up to 4 people! Make sure to tape down the mat though, I almost took the wipe of a lifetime!
