Pls Be Careful with the Jewellery Shops...

These days the people get carried away by the Look, Designs, Ads of the showrooms(Jewellery Shops) which is on display.

No Wastage No Making charge

This is Impossible.

Reason - The Original Maker of the Jewellery(The Gold Smith) Charges the Wastage and Making charge on the Jewellery he makes

Where the Wastage Goes - this is the most asked Question

This is the loss incurred by the maker because a simple chain has to go rounds for the Machining, Cutting, Polishing etc.  so during these process there will be loss of gold in Miligrams which of course will be transferred to the customer.

Incase of Stone Jewellery there will be More wastage.

Making charges - This is charged by the Gold Smith(Actual Income for any gold smith)

usually would be around 100-150 for a chain.

So for any jewellery there cant be No Wastage No making Charge Tag; If so those would be included in your actual bill.

Eg: The Jeweller would have ordered 12 Goldchains when the Gold rate was Rs.800 per gm, then by the time it gets into his shop rate would be 900 per gm and when the Ultimate customers take the bait it would have reached around 950

So just make a simple calulation 150 per gm; so after getting this money If I am an jewellery shop owner even I wont need these charges

*Stone charges. etc. blah blah

*      This offer would not be available on all the kinds of stone items. Mostly these offers would be available on the low cost stones where the wt of the stones would be taken as gold.

ForEg. U buy a Stone(American Diamond) Bangle so he would be weighing the entire bangle on the weighing Scale say it comes to around 85 Gms  and then say 10 gms is the weight of the stone which is being deducted but in acutal it would be 12-15 gms which the buyer cant even verify. at the time of purchase.

These are only about 5% of the money making noble business ways.

For readymade purchases go for a Gold certificate

Else the Safest Way  is to go to a Gold Smith Directly.

There are plenty of Gold Smiths than the Jewellery shops in India(Especially in South India)

This doesnt mean Gold smiths doesn’t Cheat even they do

but it is the gold smith who can guide u with a good solution for u r needs.

Going directly to a gold smith reduces your costs, can plan as per u r needs(Design and Weight)

and of course be assured with the quality.

Just Pen u r Queries.
