Mental Harrasment by both BSNL and Airtel

I, B Prabhu Suneel was an Airtel postpaid customer in the past. My mobile number is 9866503548. Due to various reasons, I have been migrated from Airtel to BSNL through Mobile Number Portability(MNP). While migrating to BSNL, I made sure that all my outstandings have been paid off. But later I received a message from BSNL saying that there is still some outstanding amount due on my number with AIRTEL and after paying the bills submit the same to BSNL. Then I visited one of the Airtel Relationship centres and paid off the entire outstanding amount ie. Rs.100/-(One hundred only) on 24-02-2011 and submitted the bills to BSNL. To my surprise, on 09-03-2011, my mobile phone started buzzing "SIM Registration failed" and since then my number is out of order till date.on 11-03-2011, when I


visited BSNL office and complained about the problem, they tried to swap the SIm with the new one. But, they got a rejection message saying "the number is not available in the HLR list".


When I spoke to the CRO, BSNL - Saifabad branch, hyderabad, they said that they have received a list of 65 mobile numbers from Airtel saying that there is some outstanding amount on these


numbers which has not been paid and these numbers have to be disconnected from BSNL. And they were asking me to get a "No Due Certificate" from Airtel. But when I visited Airtel Head office,


Begumpet, Hyderabad, I was told that there are no dues on my number.


Despite of all these efforts and being a very sincere customer to Airtel for such a long time, I have been rewarded by Airtel as defaulter and neither of the service providers(Airtel & BSNL) have


bothered to intimate / enquire me on my outstanding profile. Even till now, my mobile number has not been restored.


I DEMAND AN EXPLANATION ON BLAMING ME AS A DEFAULTER DESPITE OF PAYING ALL MY OUSTANDINGS IN TIME. ON WHAT BASIS, MY NUMBER HAS BEEN BLOCK LISTED.


IT GIVES IMMENSE PAIN TO REALISE THAT BSNL HAS NOT AT ALL BOTHERED TO INFORM TO IT’S CUSTOMER REGARDING DISCONNECTING THE NUMBER BASING ON OTHER SERVICE PROVIDER WHO DOESN’T HAVE BASIC VALUES TO GIVE GENIUNE INFORMATION.


ONCE AGAIN I HUMBLY REQUEST YOU TO RESTORE MY CONNECTION ON TOP PRIORITY AS I ALREADY LOST 1 full week.


FUTHER ADDING TO MY WOES, THERE IS NO RESPONSE FROM CALL CENTRE, CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP OFFICER, NODAL OFFICER AND APPELLATE AUTHORITY, WHO HAVE NOT EVEN BOTHER TO RESPOND/ ACKNOWLEDGE MY COMPLAINT. THIS SHOWS THE SORRY STATE OF AFFAIRS IN BSNL.
