Also, because our government wants India to be digital, online transactions may give us some additional discounts. Prevent Shopping From Less-Reputated( xyz) Sites: - First thing that you should do is prevent buying something from less-reputated sites. There are some developing sites which is very nice but also there are some websites which is developing but their services are not so good. Suppose, you have bought something from that sites, and you recieve damaged product, so when you call to their consumer care service, it will take you long to replace the item. Or maybe you will not even get refund or replace!
Prevent( as much as you can) shopping from international sites: - Shopping from international sites such as gearbest is not a risk, but the thing is that you have to pay lots of custom for that. Some products do not require customs. But products that require customs to be paid will charge you too high. Secondly, custom will maybe open the seal of your product to see what’s inside. So, when you recieve the product, you will not get the feeling of first time opening product. Otherwise, it is alright! Shopping from international websites is not risk, buy you have to pay customs for that.
Don’t fill you credit/debit card details in xyz sites: - The most important thing that you have to prevent is to fill your credit/debit card details in xyz websites. I know that credit/debit card details is necessary for shopping but make sure that the website is reputated and trusted. If you are shopping with a website which you are having even 1% of doubt, just choose the cash on delivery option for that. And if the option is not there, then I recommend you not to shop with that site.
