I would like to highlight my plight on netravati express.recently I had gone to kerela ( Divine Nagar) on the netravati express , when the train reached mangalore all people with general tickets started entering the sleeper class boogies and the ticket collectors were not saying anything to them. On my return journey I boarded the train ( netravati express) from DIVINE NAGAR ( kerela) to GOA . some 250 people (all from Goa) boarded the netravati express at divine nagar .when we entered the sleeper class boogies of the netravati express we ( 250 people ) were shocked to see the sleeper class boogies packed with passengers with general tickets.there was no place to keep our legs also so that we could stand in the train .
we tried all means to get them vacated from our seats but they were arrogant n none were ready to vacate the seats, we told the ticket collectors on the train but we were more shocked when the ticket collectors told us that they were people for a short journey ( 4 hours journey, divine nagar to calicut ) and will get down soon, how can the ticket collectors allow the people with general tickets in sleeper class boogies, it was at that time when all the 250 people fought with them that they vacated all the seats. there was not a single policeman on the train for help, even the ticket collectors were supporting the kerela people.
Railways should take a note of it.
