Usually people says that reality shows are a real crap. Well...... I don’t believe. The difference lies in the content and the concept you like. Everyone has their own preferences.
Here I would try to list some shows which are really a reality show and one can learn a lot from them. Everyone can have their own interests but this is my side of story.
Beg Borrow Or Steal(Bindaas):
In this show contestants are required to go places in just 100 rs. They can beg, borrow or steal anything other than money. This is a really good show where contestants are not dreaming of big fame but they are trying to survive in most difficult situations. This show teaches us that if we are stuck is any such kind of situation then what we can do to survive. You can lean how to survive and keep yourself safe at the same time.
Man V/S Wild (Discovery):
This Show is hosted by Bear Gillis (I hope I spelled him right). He try to show is that if someday we are lost on any adventure tour or if somehow we are left alone in any barren place then how we can survive and find a place to get shelter. He teaches us that how can we make traps to catch animals, which plant to eat and which plant we should not touch, how to make a shed with the locally available stuff, how to protect oneself, I even learn from him how to come out of DALDAL. He also teaches us to how to locate nearest population with the help of sun, wind direction etc. Really a must watch.
I didn’t know that (Nat Geo):
This show tells us that how things happen. It shows how small things are invented, how natural forces works, etc. A good show to watch.
*Biography (History Fox):
*This show gives us a peek in the lives of people from the past. We can learn a lot from them. We can learn a lot from their mistakes, Inspire from their achievements. It a good watch
*Mega Builders, Extreme Engineering, Man Moment Machine:
*These shows explains us how big machines are made, how big buildings are made. All these things are really fascinating. I love watching these.
In all I want to say that there is a sea of interesting knowledge around us but we have to tune ouw TV sets to Discovery, Nat Geo, History and Animal Planet. We can have a huge variety of interesting reality shows which also teaches us a lot of things. They show us how lions and tigers catch their prays which we can hardly get a chance to see in real life, they show us new places, their customs, how to survive in tough conditions, how future is shaping, how aeroplanes are built, they show us future weapons.
Actually this is a concept of your own interest. It is you who have to choose your content. Go ahead and take your pick.
