I am a woman and I love to shop but I do not like crowds. We have a very large mall here and I do not go there on a weekend as the crowds are too much.
I have found the best times to shop are Mondays and Tuesdays. Most people have spent a lot of money over the weekend and are at home. This is when I do any type of shopping. So if you dont like crowds go on an off day.
This way you will not have to fight your way through hundreds of people or get a ton of people bumping in to you and it makes the experience much nicer.
You are going to walk a long distance so by all means wear the most comfortable clothing and shoes you have.
The parking lots can be quite full so I always mark some how where I have parked my car as being in there for several hours you can forget where your car is unless you have something to trigger where you left it.
Our mall has a food court where there are many different places to eat and they arent that expensive so it is nice to sit down in the middle of a shopping trip and eat, taking a rest at the same time.
As with any mall there are expensive shops and ones that arent. I like to make a list when I go of what I need. If there is a big sale on I will some times buy things that are not on my list in bulk and save myself a lot of money in the long run.
Only take with you the amount of money you can afford to spend and then you cant go overboard. I always leave my charge cards at home when I go. I am not saving money if I charge a bunch of things that are on sale and paying all that interest on my charge card.
