I am a victim of this fraud company called ME Webhost company. Through one of the advertisements I got deceived by the fact that they offer 30 day money back guarantee. And one more thing is they charge only 1$ for 1st month.
I was very happy and registered for the services with their so-called unlimited webspace and unlimited bandwidth(which they did not offer).
And I tried to register the domain name and also got approved by them. But my site was not up for the past two months.
Then after a month passed by they charged 20$ automatically from my paypal account without my knowledge. And moreover my site was not up for a month.
When I was checking my mail one day accidentally I checked the sent items from my Inbox and to my horror these Leeches have looted my money without my knowledge. I didn’t actually know that the amount has been detected from my paypal account.
Then I immediately contact their 24X7 Customer support. Then some support Engineer came to chat. And as expected they did not refund and the were not in a situation to explain about the money back guarantee.
Finally I was totally frustrated and came to a conclusion to ask the support team to tell me the procedure to upload the files and then put up my site on the internet. The support Engineer could not solve the issue and he was delaying the issue by telling some lame excuses like nobody is there in the billing department and it is not office hours this time etc.
I thought that the money they looted cannot be refunded and raised a ticket to the billing department and this is what they said

Yes you were, you went to PayPal’s site and confirmed the subscription. The same subscription you canceled.
The problem is your not a customer. A customer is someone that there is some level of expetation of keeping long term. You on the other hand sopent more time reading the part of the 30 day guarantee. Some how you assumed that resets every month. It does not it is only for the first 30 days.
We deal with lots of new to the internet clients. The diffrence is they are eager to learn and not eager to assume. You assumed when you were sent to PayPal that the page that clearly stated you would be paying us $19.95 a month was not going to happen. Just as you assumed several times after being told your not getting a refund that you would. The only way of getting beyound being a newbie is to actualy try and learn and not expect everyone to do the leg work for you.
I am closing this account and black listing you from service, I am also aware of your chat sessions. If you truly wanted help, you would not be activly working agianst us at every turn."
And Finally they banned my ipaddress so that I could not contact them anymore and they blacklisted me inspite of being a loyal customer and I could not log on to my account at their site in spite of the remaining twenty days left for my deactivation of account.
From this experience I learnt two things.
1. Never be attracted of cheap hosting site.
2. Never argue with the Billing Dept. coz they never will refund you.
And to end this sorry story I sent a Final mail to them which they will not respond. And I am sure they will not even take time to read this one.

It is totally disappointing to me and I still couldn’t learn about the website hosting and domain name systems.
