Hi Friends, I would like to inform you about offering from hostindia.net on Economy Web Hosting plan. I had EWH plan and also I got "Unmetered traffic" as free. My site was running well for 7-8 months. Later a number of issues cropped up. (1) I started getting emails that your disk usage is approaching limits or exceeding limits. When I was not even using 10% of allocated disk space.
The reason was the server unnecessarily generating logs. I am not sure whether this is a trick. There is no option for me to delete the logs myself. (2) One day suddenly the site was suspended. The reason given was "There was huge traffic on the site, which affected other sites." They mentioned to me that I was subscribed to "Unmetered traffic" not unlimited bandwidth.
I requested them to provide me the difference between "Unmetered traffic" and "bandwidth." My site is still down and my service is highly impacted. Overall what I feel, is that the service provider is just cheating people with giving option like "Unmetered traffic." Hope this will help you to take the right decision.
