I love the GeoCities community and that is the first place that I built my homepage online. The site is easy to use and I totally agree with rajivraj’s opinion about it.
They give you plenty of space to have your page and the file manager is very easy to use. I am not real literate when it comes to things of this nature (ftp, uploading and such) but GeoCities made it so easy that I had no problems in getting pictures, etc. onto my site.
One thing though is that you really have to search for a unique name to use when you join because they have so many members that all of the common (and many not so common!) names are already taken.
Over all I would give GeoCities an AAA+ review and would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to have their own little space on the net.
