It's a piece of cake

Driving is one of those things that may seem hard but it isn’t and going to take the road test can be scarey but not if you are well prepared and don’t get nervous. Most mistakes are made because the person is nervous knowing some one is watching their every move and writing it all down. I know I’ve been there!

You go take a test to get a permit. Here it is done on a computer and you only have to answer enough to get to the right score so you don’t even have to answer all the questions. If you are not sure you can pass them and go on to the next questions. It is much easier than it used to be.

Common sense rules on the road should be practiced. Always come to a dead stop at a light or stop sign, obey the speed limit, stop at crosswalks and so on. Always use your hand signals as well as the ones in the car as people will notice more quickly and beside that your car signals may not be functioning. Never tail gate and always brake in advance.

Keep up with the flow of the traffic. If everyone is going 40 you don’t want to be out there doing 20. This is annoying to other people and can cause an accident.

I suggest learning to drive in an out of the way place first before jumping out in the middle of tons of traffic. I also suggest taking a driver ed course which will lower your insurance premiums when you do get on the road.

Practice until you are sure you are ready and then go take your test. Try to be very alert yet relaxed and you should do fine. If you fail the first time practice some more and try again.

In this day and age it is really necessary to be able to drive. Just use common sense and all will go well.
