Sports drink and water should do the trick

Even though I’ve never got drunk enough to have a hang over, I’ve tried different ways to help other friends and family with that problem.  For any of you that might have faced a person that’s suffering from a hang over, you want them to get rid of it as soon as you can.  I know it’s not fun to have a hang over, but it’s even less fun to be the one taking care of somebody with a hang over.


When you drink beer, especailly enough beer to get you drunk and get a hang over, you are most likely dehydrated.  When beer passes through your body, the only thing you get out of it is fat and calories.  While in the process of getting rid of beer in your body, you end up losing water you already have in you.  It also gives you a illusion of that you are full with water.  Which in fact is not true.  The same can apply to when you drink a lot of coffee and tea.  The effect is not going to be as bad as beer though.


When you have a hang over, drink a lot of sports drink.  Because that will give you the salt and fluid that your body needs.  Water is good too but it doesn’t give you the sodium your body needs.
