This is my first review on Movies. I have watched this movie in Tamil, Telugu earlier. However I reserved my thoughts till I saw the hindi version. I am not very good in stroy writing but in a single sentence, I can say this is the best movie of bollywood in 2008. Here goes the review:
Plot: The plot is very nicely developed and told.It is a simply story whilch is based on love of the lead pair, then intrevention of villian and killing the heroine and hero taking the revange. So if the story is very old and seen in lots of bollywood as well as indian regional movies, what makes Ghajani special? In my view it is the way the story has been naratted and presented. Isn;t the way of presentation makes a movie great? The way the director has narrated the story is unique. What is most appealing is the parallel run of the story and in between the flash back being shown. The director has done a great job in handling the situation and even though the length of the moview is bit big, director has ensured tha audience never looses the connection and interest in the narration (Which happens in most of the stories with flash back involved).
Cast:
Aamir: I think I need not write anything about this great person. He has unique way of doing justice to his roles and he was very convincing as Sanjay Singhania (In Tamil Ramaswamy), the business tycoon as well as a patient of temporary memory loss victim. His eight-pack was also good. The best thing I like about Aamir is he does a very detailed research about the character they he is playing.
Aasin: Amazing................that is the word comes to my mind to describe her performance. It is her debut film in Hindi, but she is a veteran action in South Indian Regional movies and a great performer. Just watch her performance and acting in the scence where she given money to Aamir after selling her car. The scene where she is being killed. The scene where she first meets Aamir. Mindblowing. I must say all a new sensational start is born in bollywood who can challenge all the leading female stars.
Zia Khan: Nothing much in her platter to perform.........Done justice to what ever being offered.
The villian - Ghajini : Excellent as he was in Tamil & Telugu.
My best picks of the movie:
When Aamir first sees Aasin: School Children Crossing the road...
Aasin Giving the money to Aamir
Aasin being killed
Ghajani removing all the tattos from amirs body.
Climax Scene :- Aamir being remined by Ghajani how he killer asin.
Music: Must listen, Kiase tum mujhe milgaye
Overall: A Must Watch Movie. A complete entertainer packed with action, romance, thill, little humour, good music.
