Ghajini ya Ghar Jana Hai??

Remember the movie Ghajini of M.F.Hussain who was obsessed with Madhuri that he made a movie on her not knowing how and when to finish?

Similar is the case with the Hindi remake of Tamil movie Ghajini. May be director Murugdoss thinks all to be Chennai crowd to applause and whistle on the intensive violence and meaningless gimmicks to beat the evil.

Too much bloodshed for a hero like Aamir who is known for more matured and meaningful roles in the past. The best example being recently released TZP. Surya is known for playing such roles in Tamil movies but Aamir enacting that is like Anil trying to play Eshwar as against Kamal Hussan. For like more than half the movie, I was wondering "Who the hell is Ghajini" in the movie. Of all people vilain is GHAJINI for which we paid so much. Really at one point I wanted to scream out, Dude stop so much violence, it is implied that someone will die by hitting on the head. Stop it Stop it Stop it!

Costumes not that great. Lyrics and tunes seemed to be instant remake like the script.

The only good thing about the movie was Aamir’s look and his costume which sure has risen a wave amongst the crowd to try on half sleeve rolled up formal shirts.

Asin? Being bubbly is soothing, being jumpy is headache.

Suggestion: Better to watch the movie on a DVD at home sipping coffee or anything that you like. You may like the movie one star better than sitting in theatre and adding to your misery of watching so much violence when we are on the threshold of a New Year.:)
