'Maestro' Returns with 'Perfectionist'

Take it slow. A.r. Rahman strikes back with Mr. Perfectionist and shall I tell you a story about the eternal romance of the era? And shall I call her ‘Roja’? The songs which tickle us till date and I say there are few things that we can’t forget. 1. Memories 2. Memories. His songs truly taunt us with a certain period of our lives. True to the fact that I scribble down this review knowing the fact that I have written a preview on the same subject. Sad but true that I just couldn’t control my emotions just after listening to the tracks our Maestro have composed to sooth our ears and let us click on the repeat button. Prasoon Joshi captured our heart and soul with those amazing lyrics in Taare Zameen Par. He writes with his heart and pours emotions with a drop of tear. Ghajini has got huge expectation.

  1. Aamir Khan movie never fails to draw crowd.

  2. A.r. Rahman tune songs for Aamir and Asin.

So let me chose reason number 1 and edit the second option that’s of course Music. And when I talk about music please stay tuned.

I got this Audi CD from Planet M and listened to all the 6 tracks number of times. Well, the sixth one is an instrumental piece so let me tell you it’s better than the real one since beats speak a lot more than words. Unlike other movies like Yuvvraaj, Jane Tu Ya Jane Na, Jodha Akbar, A.r. Rahman give a pleasant tune for GHAJINI which makes an instant impact and yet the classy touch remains speechless.

Track # 1: * * *

Guzarish: Javed Ali, Sonu Nigam (Guest Vocals)

This is one song that we have been watching in the promos. This song is a melody that is composed very sensitively and for the same reason we get an impact in the first time when we listen. Sonu Nigam hums for Rahman and the beats take us to the first cut of the shot which is been shown through out world wide. Javed Ali is certainly looking for a career and makes best use of his opportunity.

Track # 2: * *

Aye Bachchu: Suzanne

This is a dance track. And of course Suzanne gives the complete dedication in her work. Rahman gives the ever green beats for this dance step and the complex variations used in this track is mind blowing. There is a pause in between and the more you listen to this track, the more you will enjoy it.

Track # 3:

Kaise Mujhe: Benny Dayal, Shreya Ghoshal

Who thought a movie will have a slow pace theme which will make us think about our oldies? When I meant by the term ‘oldies’, it’s not personal but the olden times. Kaise Mujhe tum Milgayi… Kismat… Benny Dayal sing it emotionally and a person who made his debut singing Tu meri dost hai (Yuvvraaj) again sing for Rahman which shows that he has got a promising career.

Track # 4:

Behka: Karthik

This is my best track in the film and Karthik does a fabulous job. As far as I know, this song took twenty days to shoot and Aamir Khan comes in 6 different looks. Rocking? Well, this is an experimental theme and I bet you will love it. This is the most unique track in the film. And something which A.r. Rahman tried after a long time.

Track # 5:

Latoo: Shreya Ghoshal

Another dance track which will tap your feet and this time Shreya Ghoshal sing it for us. And I’m sure that the picturisation of this track will give you a better image altogether. But I’m sure that this track will come in the top list sooner due to his complex mix of music.

Track # 6: * * *

Kaise Mujhe (Instrumental)

Slow, Steady and a peaceful track.

Prasoon Joshi’s lyrics are yet again amazing. There is not a single line which is found useless and it does go with the movie’s theme. Taare Zameen Par made us cry. The songs need life and lyrics play an important role in it. With Prasoon Joshi portraying words with music, things will make GHAJINI get on top for sure. The CD will cost you 160 Rs and a worth buy with the Booklet and Mobile downloads.
