So Girls, what do you reach for when you need smooth hair free legs? (or any part of your body for that matter)
We all know that waxing and epilating will provide many weeks of hair-free zones except at the price of excruciating pain endurance. Then of course there are the hair removal creams, but if you look at the invisable small print at the back of the packaging it will read, ’be prepared to stand around for ages until each hair has individually dissolved’.
So what should we do when our patience is wearing a little thin or our pain threshold is at its lowest? The answer, simple....reach for a disposable razor, but just make sure that it’s a Gillette Mach III!
Not convinced yet??? Okay, let me convince you and hopefully by the end you’ll be asking the men in your lives as to why they haven’t shared this well guarded treat with us yet. (Maybe it’s because they secretly relish the thought of us girls going through all the pain of plucking, pulling and waxing.....ouch!)
One day a good friend of mine confessed that she had borrowed her brothers Mach III for a bikini line emergency (I think I’ve just heard all you guys out there flinch, sorry but honestly next time you guys are shaving in front of the mirror, do give some thought as to where your razor has been). Anyway she convinced me to ditch my disposable lady razors and try Mach III as this was definately the next best thing. I decided to give it a go, and let’s put it this way I wasn’t dissappointed’
Although Mach III looks like a typical Mens razor, not flimsy or pretty like all those female razors, I’ll definately give it points for being gentle. But here’s the cleaver part....as it’s name suggests, it has 3 pivoting blades, which enable it to follow the contours of your body giving you a perfect shave. Safeguarded behind bars (Gggrrr...sounds a bit of an animal) the blades get as close to your skin as they possibly can without actually touching it. So no more cuts, gushing blood or unsightly plasters. The blades are positioned in such a way that you won’t need to keep shaving the same area over and over again. This is good news to all us sensitive skin types out there and not to mention those sensitive areas of our bodies too!
The blades are tough and long lasting, proving to be more cost effective in comparison to some cheaper brands. Perfect with a dab of shaving mousse/cream or even in the shower. All in all, a good buy.
So Girls, next time you want to be hair free, just ask your guy to share his Mach III (but better still pinch it when he’s not around, trust me he won’t notice....well my friends poor brother definately didn’t!)
Gillette...maybe it’s time for a new slogan!
