I purchased the Venus razor after reading a very favorable review on it by another Mouthshut writer. Up until then, I had been hesitant about buying it, primarily because of it’s rather expensive price tag.
Made by Gillette, the Venus razor has a very unique shape and design. It at first appears as if it would fit awkwardly in your hand, however, quite the opposite is true. It’s contours exactly fit the position of my hand while shaving, making it really comfortable to use!
The Venus has three blades, which give you a very close and smooth shave. Thanks to the triple blade design, it is only necessary to go over each area of your leg once, instead of stroke after stroke. There is also a color strip which will signify when you need to change the blades. The razor head itself is completely retractable and flexes easily to fit every curve and contour of your body. One gentle touch will cause the razor head to bend completely backwards.
Venus comes in an attractive storage case which can be mounted or hung in the shower. The case has a storage area that will hold four extra razor heads, each sealed in their own individual waterproof package.
The only downfall to the Venus razor is it’s price. The razor and one replacement razor head is $7.34. A package of four replacement heads are also $7.34. However, I have found this razor to be well worth the money!
