GIONEE even though its not got that brand value as NOKIA or SAMSUNG has got has launched awesome devises like L800. Very nice interface and nothing comparable with styles on its own. Why I chose : I was in search for a very good feature mobile with following features 1. Nice call clarity -> both earpiece , speaker and headphones 2. 16 GB expandable storage 3. descent camera ( optional) 4. Good battery backup( most important. am not a continues phone usage for calls still I need that. 3000 mah in this mobile . something more than most smart phones has now a days.) 5. Torch ( preferable for a feature phone) 6. DUAL SIM. 7. BLUETOOTH ( preferable) 8. 3.5 MM headphone jack 9. pretty descent looks ( obviously) from above all requirements I got everything 200% from this mobile -> except for the camera which is cool to take and view in this mobile screen and not any where else. -> Call clarity is awesome ( up to my expectation. Expectation may vary : -) ) -> Speaker is good and loud ( a quite bit louder than required) which distorts at full volume. The same with the case of headphones. But when used any other compatible headphones ( almost many are compatible) the sound clarity is really good which is really enough for a feature phone. Who should go for this : Any one who gonna have a day long call, music , messaging can have this mobile. My for-cast is for a very hard usage the phone’s battery charge may last for a week or two at least. For a person like me who use phone for little music, few hours of calls, and very less messaging this phone will last for atleast 3+ weeks. Have been using this mobile for a week now and not even a single percent change in the battery meter ( Note I charged this mobile full when I unboxed it for the first time a week before) . PROS: 1. DUAL SIM 2. 3000 mAh battery 3. good call clarity 4. enough features. 5. Can be used both as primary or secondary phone. CONS: 1. This is a DUAL SIM stand by device and not DUAL SIM ACTIVE device. 2. The device with the battery on is a bit heavy ( compared to other devices in market today) . 3. Not a very good camera The colour which is specified by the company is not very appropriate. Actual colour is black with grey and a kind of copper colour indeed both are good and I have the black variant. Verdict: Very good mobile with basic features and only for basic needs like calls and messages. If you prefer a good camera, HD display, touch screen, gorilla glass, Android or Windows, then THIS IS NOT YOUR CUP OF COFFEE.
