Gionee Marathon M2 which was my second android mobile phone and was not so happy about the performance of the device. The phone looked good but looks is not all that matters when it come to a device. The drawbacks of the device goes as:
The total weight of the phone is 500 grams which is heavy in terms of a smartphone.
After 7 Months of use of the phone the Phones board had burnt off after updating the phone when I received update from the company.
The processor of the phone is also not so upto the mark as the phone starts to hang after certain time of usage.
The display quality of the phone is also not so good.
The phone’s volume keys stop functioning very soon.
The phone does not support OTG for pen drives.
The charging process take a bit too long time.
The phone has heating problem and gets hot very soon.
Quality of the earphones is very low as the earphone stops functioning very soon.
Some good qualities of the phone is that:
It has a really good battery which can last upto 2 days on heavy usage with a full charge.
The phone supports OTG charging.
Sound reception of the device is of average quality. The device is easy to use for any person to use it. In terms of style and design it is again of an average point. Features of the phone is limited. the phone is less reliable as the phone hangs very often will need to reboot very often. It is an average value for the money you pay.
