April 1, 2004 the beta version of gmail was released and after three years on February 7, 2007, it became available to the general public. Although it was still in beta status at that time. Bu July 7, 2009, the beta version was upgraded to general along with the rest of the google Apps suite.
Why I like gmail?
1. Gmail is totally free. You can create an email id with gmail when ever and where ever you want.
2.Mailing service is also free. Gmail won charge you for any service it provides to you.
3.Gmail is totally safe and secured. Now these days gmail is providing mobile confirmation for access any account.
4.User friendly environment.The basic settings is very easy to understand so any one can use it.
5.Easier to handle. It is very easy to create mails and it better sending option.
6.Provides better filtering.
7. Priority Inbox.
8.Video chatting.
and many more.
Day by day google is upgrading gmail and providing many more features to it.
Millions of people use gmail for there persona and official purpose.
So in my opinion, I refer everyone to use gmail.
