Where do I even begin?
Right from the beginning GO has been a radio station not even close to normal. I mean that in a good way...it was simply awesome.
To have people that could make you smile and moreover play really really good music. Nothing more could ever be asked for. To raise spirits is one thing, but to maintain it, it’s hard but this radio station never had a lull day.
It was the perfect combination when driving. afer all, where else would you rely on the radio for entertainment more?
Infact, such was their impact on me, I even aspired to be Radio jockey myself. I started collections of music that I’d heard but never knew the names for. I started shopping at the recommended places, infact, I relied on this station so much, that in the middle of the night I would switch it on and just relax incase I hard work to do or study. or perhaps even relax.
Everything has been blown now, every single thing that GO made a reputation in, is now blown to smitherens. It’s hard to imagine now, but it’s true. Every single radio station in Mumbai is now playing strictly hindi music.
I have no problems with that, but atleast have one station playing some good english music.
It’s now irritating to be swtiching through radio stations to be hearing music from bad to worse to pathetic.
Junta vote matters, and we are in a minority which is only going to mean that we’re gonna stop listening to music.
