I have read some of the reviews which are basically complaints and really wonder whether we chose to write only when we are unhappy and want to complain. Go Air has started well with all the normal problems of a new Airline and I wish they would do well. I shall list my experiences . Please draw your own conclusions:
My first bookings were for 2 free tickets costing Rs. 221 each for Coimbatore- Chennai for Feb 9, 2006. The airline cancelled the route from Jan 31. Refunded the money and I had to change my program. Not a good start for me.
The second chance came when Chennai- Delhi- Chennai route was open for booking. I could pick up a total of 10 tickets before the server became slow. This time I could not travel and got all the refunds properly in time. Only one to and fro journey could be undertaken, no hitches, no glitches, perfect flying, perfect timings.
And to think that a return journry to Delhi from Chennai cost Rs. 442 only.
Given a chance I shall fly GO AIR again, the prices are generally ok. Right now I hold a ticket DEL-MAA for Rs. 1900. Their cancellations policies are bit stiff, but then so are Jet Airways. So plan well, avoid cancellation, you get credit notes, not the refunds.
