4 Year Old Complaint Against Go Air

Sir/Madam, This is to complain that Go Airlines has not yet given the interest on late refund of my son’s airfare money till now despite several reminders. He had booked a Go Airlines flight from Patna to Bangalore(Confirmation No: GK3HQC, Service Tax No: AACCG2599K ST001) scheduled to fly on 1st March 2011, by paying total amount Rs. 4274.00 as the airfare.


But the flight was cancelled by Go Airlines due to unknown reasons, due to which I missed an important business meeting. The Go Airlines representative at Patna Airport told him that the airfare money will be fully refunded within 2-3 working days in my account. He received the airfare money after two months, after I paid several visits to the Go Airlines office at Patna Airport and made numerous calls to their Customer Harassment Executives on their(helpless) helpline number.


But he has still not received the 20% interest on my airfare due to late payment. Why did Go Airlines make promises to customers when they can’t fulfill them? This is highly unprofessional and irresponsible attitude of Go Airlines Executives. Kindly look into this matter and instruct/order Go Airlines management to refund my full interest money, on account of late refund of my airfare money and withholding the money for so long for no reason, at the rate of 20% per day interest as compensation for the harassment Go Airlines office employees have caused me for more than 4 years now.


I hope your intervention will leave them no choice but to honour their commitments they have towards their customers, which they have been ignoring for so long now. Looking forward to a quick and positive response from Go Air’s side…
