This so called tech savvy ONLINE INSURANCE CO is practically of no use as there is no help desk where one can talk in person. There is only a SMART CHATBOT which is kept only for the benefit of the company. There are no useful links for customer. Brief about my personal experience- we purchased a two wheeler TVS Jupiter for Rs.87500 from a registered dealer. In spite of the fact that we offered to insure on our own, dealer refused citing reasons that it comes as a complete package from TVS Motors. Shockingly when we received the papers we came to know that IDV considered is Rs.62k instead of Rs.88k & that too the policy is totally a basic one with hardly any benefit from customer point of view. Dealer refused to make ay changes & insisted us to talk to GODIGIT. After a series of email corresponences rigourously for nearly 2 months, we understand that GODIGIT & TVS smartly UNDERINSURE the vehicle to show lower premiums. GODIGIT smartly pockets away the premiums with the intention to make crores but when it comes to claim, since the vehicle is UNDERINSURED the customer is at a loss. Also the policy issued is also a basic one intentionally issued to keep the claims on lower side. It is purely fooling people. UNDERINSURING IS NOT ACCEPTABLE AS PER IRDA. Tried following up with -hello@godigit.com, Shweta.sudhirnarnawale@godigit.com, Irshad.ahmed@godigit.com but everone turns deaf ears. If things dont turn out well, will surely take up with IRDA.
