We visited goa in Feb’2017. It’s one of the best time to visit goa and enjoy.
Goa is mainly preferrable to visit with group of good friends. There are a lot many places for sightsceen and one cannot checkin to all of them at a time. Among all other beach the best one I found is sinquerim beach its on the way to agora fort. The best time to visit this beach is during sunset. Mostly tge crowd is less and you can enjoy every bit of it. We booked room from guesthouser( you can read my detailed reviews on it) , its again very cheap and they provide very well maintened rooms. And for roaming and sightsceen around goa bikes and scooties are best options, there are many shops to choose from. Overall in goa if we talk about safety its not a much safer place. Even if you are with a group there are chances localites may pass comments and its better not to fall prey by answering them.Go ahead plan a trip definetly one will cherish it for lifetime.
