GOA :-
GOA is a heaven in Winter , however very few people know that GOA is extremely beautiful in Rains also . Though you can not go deep in the sea , but the sea and the greenery during monsoons can certainly take your breath away .
Irrespective of the season , its a very important choice to be made , i.e. NORTH GOA OR SOUTH GOA , I am of the view that NORTH GOA is the place to be in if you are going for freak out fun as north GOA has the Calangute and Baga beach as well as quiet a few discs for fun .
If you want rest then SOUTH GOA is the place to be in , the uthada and the majorda beach will give you all the rest you can think of or dream of .
You can take a Bike on hire ( during peak season time its @ 250-300 bucks a day and during monsoon its @ 75-100 bucks a day + petrol )
If you go during the Monsoons , please do not go to the hotel bookings from your city , instead do the bookings once you have reached there , since then you will get the best rates as , the condition in GOA is of 5 buyers and 5000 sellers .
The best of all hotels would offer you as much as 70% - 75% discounts on the card rates .
I have paid Rs. 300 per day ( for a couple on twin sharing ) in a hotel which normally charges Rs. 2000/-( for a couple on twin sharing ) .
You should be aware of which station to get down at and which is the nearest station to your hotel . If you have to go to Baga or Calangute beach Thivim is the nearest station , if you go further on then its a big trouble and cost commuting back to your hotel .
One very important thing , once you are in GOA - JUST CHILL ....................and have fun .....cos GOA means FUN and FUN ........
