Worth a read

Kudos to arundhati, that lady has something in her, if you are right you should have the courage to defend yourself and that is what she did even when the mighty supreme court of India crossed her path.

Well, coming to the God of small things: the novel is lucidly written, gripping and gives you deep insight into the Kerala way of life. Well, if you are fond of delicious jams and pickles, this the book for you. I sometimes wonder whether this is some kind of a biography of the lady. You know, it kind of gives you a feeling as if the author is narrating her life story and is subtly looking for your sympathy.

All in all it is a good book worth a read, now whether it deserves the hype and awards is a different issue all together.
