By far the most impressive piece of writing that I have come across. Godfather begins with a drama happening at Don’s house with the wedding and just takes you from there. U feel Don Vito corleone within, u want to be like his younger son, Micheal, and u want to grow up with a strong character like Don himself.
This one book made me sit upright for about 8 hours without moving an inch to finish it from start to end. The way don speaks ’’Be my friend’’ or the way Micheal says’’Never ask me about my work’’, is simply amazing. Mario puzo’s undoubtedly the best work, deals with a lot of issues in the life of a Don and the way he handles it keeping his sanctity intact.
Worth buying and keeping in personal library, a must read for one and all, but people above the maturity age for Don is considred a grown up character and would be appreciated only if u can step in his shoes while reading the book...
Read the book in one go and dont break the flow...
