Well a few of our readers may be aware that Godrej has embarked into the fruits, vegatable, milk products business by launching small retail stores named as Natures Basket. There is one such store situated at Bhulabhai desai road opposite the Mahalaxmi temple.
If the quality of produce being sold is an active indicator of the quality that Godrej offers at the retail consumer level then it sure is an indicator of the extremely poor quality culture in the house of Godrej
The fruits and vegatables sold are absolutely rotten and when I say rotten it means rotten. The onions are rotting on the shelves and no action is taken to make amends by replacing the stock with a edible one. This becomes more glaring when the quality is pointed out to the managers and staff. The answer one gets is that there is no good quality to replenish. Well then may I ask why feed people with rotten stuff.
Fruits like papaya are overripe and extremely soft.
These are case in points and you could well imagine the state of affairs if one had to inspect each and every produce that is sold in thier store.
Well if this is the case of affairs of the Godrej outlet where it meets the consumer directly in the eye then may I ask what could be the state of affairs and quality control in all the industries managed by them where the consumer does not get to see the manufacturing.
If they can cheat a customer on health grounds so blatantly and egoistically one needs to only imagine the Going ons and attitude within the House of godrej and the culture that the promoters are Imbibing in the organisation
All I can say that beware of the trademark Godrej and dont trust it at its face value.
