Usually we buy chicken on weekends and keep in freezer for upto 5 days and consume(don’t worry it’s perfectly safe).
However I think Godrej lies about the packaging date because even though we always buy chicken packed on the same day and refridgerate immediately it gets spolied after couple of days. It has happened couple of times. I guess I will stick to buying fresh chicken from local stalls, they seem safer.However I really liked the chicken quality in that it was tasty when I cooked on the same day as bought.
