One thing patients should know the importance of PUFA & MUFAi.e.Poly-Unsaturated Fatty Acid & Mono-Unsaturated Fatty Acids.Presence of PUFA in oil reduces BAD Cholesterol & helps to build up GOOD CholestrolWhile PUFA is doing freely;there is some doubt about MUFA;but it is still better than ordinary Vegetable oil.Such good oil are KARDI OIL;(SAFFLOWER OIL);.Corn oil;Sesame oil.;OLIVE OIL IS BEST.;but it is of not good taste as compared with other oil; and also more expensive for regular use.
For all practical purpose people should get maximum benefit by using all these four types of oil at different times but regularly.i.g.for Salads use olive oil.& alternate other oil regularly.
