Just forget about the first Godzilla movie or its sequel. Godzilla vs Kong delivers a decent hour fighting satisfaction between two conspicuous monsters from our childhood. Unlike previous parts, this movie seems more colourful and not boring. Viewers get what they want. The story of the movie is quite straightforward. For some unknown reason, Godzilla suddenly turns to the humans who were previously protected by the monster, and Kong is being isolated in an enclosed zone inside Skull Island. The movie also shows us these two monsters have bad blood for decades. Also, humans are making their own secret Mecha Godzilla fight against other titans.
The film doesn’t show any direct reason behind their face-offs but leaves only a single note about ancient enmity which seems a little weak point to me. Also, the technologies shown in the movie seems pretty advanced which is practically impossible cause the storyline follows only 2 years from the previous Godzilla movie.
Otherwise, the movie is quite good for stress less enjoyment for a holiday.
