I booked a room in lemon tree hotel in dehradun using goibibo as I was getting a really good price.
I had booked the hotel 1 week ago and paid the amount.
When I went to the hotel they said all rooms are full as the couple who had to check out today have not done it and they have no rooms of my budget for one person for next 2 days.
I was disappointed and called goibibo and they said that they will refund the amount. I had to then stay at other hotel and pay high prices.
I constantly called them for a week but there was no sign of refunds from them.
Then 10 days later I got a messages that they have refunded my amount as go ibibo cash. Ideally you should refund back in the bank account from which I have paid you but the disagreed and I had to compromise.
I then booked train tickets using the goibibo money.
my experience of using goibibo was really pathetic as everyone in my family and relatives thought I was staying in some good hotel!
Personally I did not like this website and I do not recommend it!
