I booked a hotel in Pondicherry for 2 nights(Refundable, Goibibo Booking Id: HTLRYB4SNJ). But my plans changed and so I cancelled 1 night.
Goibibo confirmed refund of Rs.2706 on 26-Sep-2017(Proof: I have mail). But they lied. Refund was not processed even after 5 days(Proof: On 2-oct-2017 they themselves confirmed that refund is now cancelled) giving false reasons.
Actually, my plan changed again and I stayed in hotel for both nights. But due to some issues with hotel, the hotel gave me 1 night free.
Now Goibibo says because you stayed for 2 nights, your refund is cancelled. How is that?
When I said 1 night was free from hotel, then Goibibo is now asking proof of free night. [Ref Ticket #15777012]
I told sorry, Goibibo is just online platform. Whether hotel gives me free night or not, my confirmed refund cannot be stopped by Goibibo because I did not give proof for free night.
All above facts are supported by emails with me.
So friends, don’t be lured by low price on Goibibo. Problem will start when you have to cancel and ask refund from Goibibo.
