We got attracted by discount coupons/offers and We made a booking for 2 flight tickets through goibibo.com. In ticket booking web page , we entered the discount coupon code and it got accepted and the discount was applied in the payment confirmation screen. However when I got payment confirmation email , in that email the coupon discount was not applied and paid the charges without discount.I called to customer care to address this problem , I got the answer it is my mistake that I accepted the price and didn’t take screen shot for reference purpose . I tried to explain them that the discount coupon was accepted before payment and I saw the price before confirmation but while charging on my CC they didn’t apply the coupon discount and charged higher price.But they didn’t listen my problem in spite of calling them 2/3 timesThe customer care is full of unprofessional and I also wrote to their management but it is waste of time. SO I though to write on this website.In Short these discount coupons and advertisement is to fool and trap people , they are false advertisementPlease , before booking any flight tickets , go to the airline main website to check real price and availability of seats because Goibibo is not running this business for charity . They are running business model to attract more foolish customers like us and trap them in their loop . After all this is matter of money . Giving money is very easy but getting refund back from these people are really pain A****.I request all of you , please avoid using such cheap fraud sites and make your friends /relatives aware about the frauds, so they shouldn’t get trap by these offers.
