I have been a regular user of Goibibo for booking my bus ticket until last friday. On June20th I booked a ticket from Bangalore to Hampi for 20/06/2014 where as I received the Date of Journey as 2014.07.04(4th July). The actual issue is with the site as the current date was showing as July 4th where as it is supposed to be 20th June.
We just called up their customer care and asked them to book the ticket today and they have been very rude in telling on the face that it was my mistake and they can’t do anything. They just asked me to cancel the ticket and book a new one and the cancellation charge is applicable. They got back saying that was my mistake in choosing the data as July 4th. Why will I go and choose my date as 4th July when travel date was the same day so I would obviously choose the booking, today.For no mistake of mine I was a victim for this and had to pay cancellation charges for my ticket. I believe this is the way they earn their money.
